New Twist

Okay so there's always been this teeny tiny voice in the back of my head silently worrying that my one-a-day Sugar Free Red Bull really isn't the best for me.

I decided to try other energy drink options and came across 'Cranergy' from Ocean Spray. Gotta say- I love it! Gives me the kick I need and (I hope) is helping me with my low HDL levels due to the cranberry juice content. So long Red Bull, hello Cranergy!

And yes, I do accept corporate sponsorships on my weight loss journey. Any offers? :)

Happy Birthday B!

Today is my sister-in-law, Bridget's birthday! We've shared some great memories over the years and will be sure to share many more great memories in the future. She is a great mom to Jack and Evie and wife to Scotty.

Hunkering down...

I love this time of year! Today is a rainy, cool day- perfect for curling up on the sofa with a book and blanket! And flipping the 'on' switch to the fireplace!

I've always been a reader and since grad school, haven't really found a book to get lost in. Well all of that changed when my good friend, Adrian, loaned me a couple books by Emily Griffin. I can't put them down! If you're in the mood, check her out at your local library- it's a good, fun read!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to turn the page...

All good things must come to an end-

...And that includes vacation!

Andy and I had a blast this past week in Okoboji! The weather cooperated and it was high 70's and sunny every day. We enjoyed our old favorites like breakfast at the Koffee Kup Cafe, drinks at the Dry Dock, golfing at Emerald Hills... as well as added some new favorites like lunch at the Taco House, bowling at Corner Lanes, drinks at Cocktails.

I can't believe the week is over but now we can count down the days until Boji 2009!
