Take me out to the ball game...

On Friday night, Andy and his boss hosted a Principal Sky box for some of their clients which meant...peanut got to attend her first Icubs game!

She did great and even though she was initially hesitant when 'Cubbie' came around, she was still in awe of him! We had a great time!

The drains are mysteriously unclogged, the sinks and mirrors are clean, some major woodworking/construction project is completed, our cars are running smoothly...


I've decided that this is all due to the fact that Scotty is superhuman. Whether it be plumbing, electrical work, construction, auto repair- he can do it all. Seriously- if we didn't live in the 'house that Scott built,' our current home would look like this:



But since we are so fortunate to have Scotty, here are some recent fruits of his labor. Completely refurbished bar stools- beautiful smooth wood. No more scraping your leg on a staple!

Curtains! It only took me 5 years to buy curtain rods but Scott seriously hung both rods in the living room and family room in under 15 minutes. Genius I tell you.

In addition to this, building our fence and re-hanging our overhead kitchen light, our drains are unclogged and my car runs perfectly. Thanks for all your hard work Scotty! xo

33 Weeks and growing...

Today, Reagan is 33 weeks and growing!

This week brings... new funny faces (she's not used to having teeth!), a sleepover at our house with cousin Jackie and *gasp* a possible temper tantrum?!

I can't really say for sure but... when she doesn't get what she wants, she has started to thrust her fists in the air and kick her feet! It was cute until I realized, Oh. This could be a temper tantrum. I'm not sure if she's too young to actually realize what she's doing? But it's so darn cute and hard not to laugh at!

Her new thing is scrunching up her nose and snorting- she knows it makes us laugh so naturally she does it again and again. :)

*Sigh* Sadly, we had to bid farewell to the pappasan chair. In its place- a pack-n-play that my mom got a great deal on! She loves it~

Home Improvement

Houston: We have privacy!

Our neighbor's 3 dogs and the arrival of peanut prompted plans for a 6 ft privacy fence. We are so happy with how it turned out and the best part, no more dog 'treats' left in our yard! Mucho thanks to Scotty, who despite never having done a fence before- knew exactly what to do! *surprise surprise* Thanks also to Steve-O for helping out!

32 Weeks and growing...

Today baby girl is 32 weeks and growing!

This week brought...grandparents! Since Andy and I were out of town for a work trip, Gramma Wallace graciously agreed to stay with Reagan. They had the best time! And thankfully Reagan was on sabbatical from teething, if only for 2 days. Reagan loved spending time with her grammy and meeting Steve and Alyce's new puppy!

Tomorrow her other grandparents are coming to visit for a few days as Andy and Scotty will be installing our new fence. I see shopping trips with Gramma Kollenkark in our future! Since peanut has met the height requirements on her infant seat, we're in the market for a couple convertible car seats.

This week also brought Reagan reaching out! I was wondering when the day would come and last night- she reached out for me! Nothing feels as good as a 'reach out to her mama.' :)

Wordless Wednesday

31 Weeks and growing...

Today lil peanut is 31 weeks and growing!

This week brought....Reagan's first trip to the downtown farmer's market, playing in her baby pool and getting a manicure/pedicure! We had a busy fun-filled weekend, including a BBQ with friends and a sleepover at her cousin's house!

Added bonus- today, her 2 bottom teeth popped through! Let's hope this puts an end to the non-stop ear infections.
