Saying good-bye to 2011

And... welcoming 2012!

I realized that I don't do resolutions.  For me, it's just setting myself up for failure. Sure I can attest to setting mini goals but to actually call it a resolution, nope. I do however, love looking back over the year and being so thankful for all that we have been given.  Good health, jobs that provide for our family and amazing family and friends supporting us throughout the journey.

To our family and friends, near and far, we wish many blessings in the coming new year!

Celebrating Christmas~ Part 3

We spent Christmas day with the W side of the family.  It was bittersweet this year as Andy's grandpa couldn't be with us (physically), but we know he was with us in spirit.  We enjoyed the day watching the kids play and catching up with each other.

And in true customary Christmas fashion, I ate my weight in sweets.  Oh I know, you're all SO surprised. :)

It was the perfect ending to the Christmas holiday.

Celebrating Christmas~ Part 2

We had the perfect Christmas eve night and Christmas morning as our lil family of 3. We watched White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life and... peanut prepared for Santa's arrival.

Writing a letter to Santa with daddy~

Laying out cookies for Santa...
Okay laying out cookies a couple times since 'someone who shall remain nameless but is a cute little toddler' kept sneaking off to eat said cookies...~

Adding milk for Santa~
Hmmm.... someone stalling before bedtime?

Celebrating Christmas

We celebrated Christmas up north yesterday~  Peanut got to see G&G K., her Aunt's and Uncle's and cousins. We even had a sweet visit to see Great Gramma W. at the nursing home. Even though she can't speak, I could see it in her eyes and her smile- she knew who we were and was so happy that we came to visit.

As always, we had the tastiest food/drinks and enjoyed the best company!  We are so thankful for our family and friends and the time we get to spend together.  Merry Christmas!

Let's roll...

Let's stroll...

Happy girls!

It wouldn't be Christmas without mama's 'percolator punch' and loads of Christmas goodies!
