Reagan setting up her nativity set...
Elfie bringing an elf pen so Reagan can write her letter to Santa:
Annual Santa visit to Bass Pro:
Celebrating Karly's birthday! Complete with a visit from Elsa and Olaf!
Reagan's favorite part was making snow and playing games...Mommy's favorite part was the pizza and ice cream. Priorities.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Joys and tribulations, rants and rambles, insights and embarrassing moments...Taking in all of life and what it has to offer!

Pics from the Village
I've said it so many times... it takes a village. And we couldn't raise Reagan without our amazing village.
I had to travel out of town this week for work and am so thankful to G&G W., Aunt B and Uncle Scotty, our friends, Jacque and Karl, and for Andy (for always rocking single parent duty)... for helping out with Reagan when we need it.
Pics from daddy:
All snuggled in ready to watch Christmas shows...
Trying eggnog for the first time:
Preschool sneak peek- since I was gone, G&G attended in my place.
I'm so thankful to be home, there truly is no place like it.

Sleepover Fun
Reagan had her very first friend sleepover (at someone else's house) Saturday night. She was so excited! She had lots of stories for us the next day about all the fun things they did, including making 'hand' cookies and eating chocolate frosting 'right out of the container!'
She did great and slept all night through. I see many more sleepovers in our future. :)

All Things Christmas
I love this time of year! So many fun things to do to enjoy the holiday season.
On Thursday, my girls and I attended our annual Christmas in the Junction Girls Night Out! Lots of fun shopping, listening to carolers, and of course- Dinner at Cooper's on 5th! We had so much fun and shared so many good laughs.
Everyone needs a truck covered in Christmas lights, am I right?
On Saturday the local theater does $1 Christmas movies so Reagan and I met some friends to see The Polar Express. We really enjoyed the movie and had fun seeing friends!
We happened to see Santa at the grocery store- no line and I could take my own (free!) pic. Win win!
Our neighbors organized a Christmas sleigh ride through the neighborhood. Reagan helped me make Christmas tree brownies and despite the chill, we had a great time! We saw Olaf, carolers and got candy canes at every stop. I love being in a neighborhood that is so kid-friendly with neighbors you can get to know and have fun with.
And finally our new tree lit up at night... I finally relented on buying a new tree after our current one (9 years old) wasn't holding the duct-tree branches on anymore. Target had a one-day 50% sale and I saved an extra 5% using Redcard. It was a great deal I just couldn't pass up. The best part- it's only 3 sections and pre lit. Makes Christmas easy!
Happy Holidays!

5 year Well Child Visit
Reagan had her 5 year check-up yesterday and I am so happy to report all is well!
There was much hesitation with this visit as she knew she was getting shots. But we got through them with a few tears and then she quickly recovered. I'm sure the pink band aids and plethora of Frozen stickers from the nurse aided in her recovery.
The Dr. said her ears and throat looked perfect. She finally hit the 40 lb mark and is in the 52nd percentile for weight and is 42 and 1/4 in. tall and is in the 40th percentile for height.
As per the routine, she had many stories to tell the Dr. and he was definitely amused- she passed all the milestones on the checklist so we are right on track developmentally.
The Dr. informed her no more shots until she's eleven (to which Rea asked, 'How long until I'm 11?' A long time!) so that was great news. When I think back to how sick she was in August, I'm so grateful she has recovered and feels great. A true blessing to get such a good check-up!
Of course we had to celebrate with a special treat- Orange Leaf!
