Thankful Thursday

Reagan's girl scout troop is supporting local law enforcement that have to work over the holidays- they are putting together a gift basket and the girls picked what they would bring to donate. Reagan choose Subway and DQ gift cards.

We are thankful that there are people willing to sacrifice their holidays to keep the rest of us safe.

Some annual traditions that I love...

The NICE list!

A friendly visit from Santa's 'scout' elves with an official certificate that Reagan made Santa's 'nice!' list!  She was thrilled!  A huge thank you to neighbors in our 'hood who help Santa deliver these every year.

Bass Pro Santa visit!

So much fun with friends! I think we ran into half of Rea's class- always fun to see classmates outside of school hours. She loved it!

This makes her Santa list every year...

Jolly Holiday Lights!

The best light display around and the funds raised goes to such a great cause. The lines were short and the scenery was beautiful! So many new lights this year- lots of fun!

Christmas cards!

Ready to be sealed and mailed. A tradition I almost didn't take the time to do this year but know I would have regretted it. I love getting Christmas cards in the mail and decided to keep this annual tradition.

Note to Elfie

Andy and I found this sweet note Reagan left for her elf.

She has been battling a cold and ear infections so she asked Elfie to hide 'somewhere fun.'

First Snow!

Reagan was beyond excited to wake up to snow this morning!

She had fun playing in it while daddy started the countdown to summer! Ha!

Reagan had fun doing her annual gingerbread house set up- this year we did the Trolls version.

Always fun watching the walls come down too soon, eating too much frosting and having those tiny candies roll around the kitchen floor... we have lots of laughs over the fact that we are not the best at this process. HA!  It's the tradition that counts...

First grade music concert:  Flakes!

Reagan was so excited!  She had to dress up as a snowflake.  She had 2 different speaking parts and loved doing all the songs with motions.

She had a great cheering squad smiling her on and it was fun to see her up on stage with her friends.

She was SO excited her cousin came!!

She has the best group of girlfriends...
