Indoor fun

The cold winter has forced us to get creative with indoor fun ideas for burning off toddler steam. I know we are all anxious and ready for spring so we can play outside!

Science experiments at daycare. I loved hearing Reagan's excited recant of how the experiment went down ("Mommy it was SO cool!"): baking soda, vinegar, water, food coloring, and a very gracious Jacque for letting the kids build a volcano in her kitchen! :)

Painting!

And the best part of our weekend- celebrating Papa's birthday!  We enjoyed a delicious brunch with family. The perfect way to spend a Sunday. Happy birthday Papa- we love you!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Fun in the snow!

Only in the Midwest can you endure a snow squall one morning and have 43 degree temps that same afternoon! We made the most of the nice weather yesterday and played outside after getting home from work/daycare.

Rea had so much fun with her scoop and sledding!

Another blizzard warning is on the horizon... stay safe my friends!

Worn out.

After a weekend filled with Valentine's day festivities, three separate play dates with friends and cousins, Kids Church, a trip to the grocery store and Music and Movement at the library, this toddler  Superhero princess was wore out!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We have a couple fun family traditions for Valentine's day- heart-shaped pizza, toasting with apple juice and peanut gets to open a Valentine treat from us.

Happy heart day from our family to yours!
