Hello April!

Heart Happy!
A full weekend with friends and family warms the heart...

Friday night we had so much fun celebrating my dear friend, Nette's birthday!   A first time for me at the wine bar and it was the perfect place to celebrate!  A stroll around downtown Ames and a fabulous dinner at +39.  Always a great time with my girls!

Saturday we headed north for our nephew's first birthday party- ties and mustaches! Such a cute theme and Rea had fun being with her cousins!  Happy birthday sweet Lex!

Saturday night we headed to our friend's for a basement christening party- a newly finished basement is the perfect place for a dance party with the kiddos!  Lots of fun enjoying the night...

Sunday- light it up blue for autism awareness!

We escaped the rain and cold temps with a fun movie play date- Boss Baby!  Lots of laughs!

A great way to welcome April...  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Firsts

Reagan experienced her first violin lesson this week.  She really enjoyed it and is eager to learn more!

Time for science!

Rea had a Girl Scout troop gathering at the Science Center where they learned how the Imax movies are loaded, played, got a back stage tour and then got to watch an Imax movie- fun times!

The girls also enjoyed exploring the science center and making musical instruments!

We brought the science fun home and decided to try out some homemade stuff!

Spring Break Part 2

We took a much needed one day hiatus where pj's reined and McD's was on the menu...

The timing was perfect for movie night during midweek church night!

Rea brought a friend and even got to lead the prayer before the movie....so proud of her!

Then we packed up the snow pants, boots and scarves and headed north for some spring break fun with family!

What a wonderful spring break making memories... I feel very fortunate for this week off work spent with some of my favorite people.  But all good things must come to an end...time to crank up the coffee pot and get back to the work grind.
