Weekend fun!

Friday night:
Movie night with friends at Rea's school- the PTA hosted the event with popcorn and a great time was had by all!

Saturday-
Rain rain go away!
Perfect baking day....peanut butter cookie dough brownies- yes please!

Saturday night we headed to our friends new house for a housewarming party!  Happy birthday Tara!

Sunday-
Love that Rea wants to do extra credit!  Hard at work...

A special note

Rea earned a 'Remarkable Ram' note from her teacher last week!

They read a story about a lemonade stand at school.  When she got home, she asked if she could make one- the only requirement was that it had to fit in her back pack.  She designed it all from Lego's and even made the signs.

October days...

With Rea in dance 3 nights a week, church midweek, weekend trips and girl scouts... October is flying by!

The school year is going so well for Rea. She is excited to go and see her friends and she LOVES her teacher.  In just 17 shorts days... we'll have an 8 year old in the house!  Man how time flies...

Harvest fest 2017-
Although the weather did not cooperate we still had a wonderful girls weekend in Clear Lake! Shopping, wine tasting, eating delicious food- the best part was being together! Love my girls!

Homecoming week continued!

Rea was disappointed that the homecoming parade was canceled due to weather but that didn't dampen the fun she had dressing up this week!

It's homecoming week and Rea was excited to dress up!

The theme for today was 60's... we found a cheap tie dye kit, add a $2 tee and it was a great activity!

Okoboji 2017

Our annual trip to the lake...did not disappoint! 

Trips to the water park, boating, playing games, nature hikes, finding new parks, walking in the lake, touching seaweed, being with family, walking on the dock, making slime, early morning coffee with the view of the lake, eating our weight in homemade cinnamon rolls...... we had a wonderful time!
