Dance Recital 2016

I can't believe this was Reagan's 4th year of dance!

This is the time of year that Rea looks forward to the most, being on stage!  She has really improved with her technique this year too, which is neat to see. I just want her to always know that being active can be lots of fun. Dance is a great activity for her to do and she has made some lasting friendships through dance.

She was in two recitals this year and rocked it- ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop.  She will tell you, hip hop was her favorite!

Here's to a great dance season... and a well-deserved break!

First day of Summer Vacation

I took the day off so Reagan and I could enjoy the first day of summer vacation...

And Reagan promptly wakes up with an ear infection. We spent the early a.m. visiting the Dr. only to learn both her tubes are out and one ear was infected. Referral to ENT in our future...oh the joys!  The positives, no fever and she was cleared by the Doc for a fun-filled day!

She grew.... 4 ft!

We met one of Rea's friends at Adventureland- fun times!

Rea has been asking all year to go to Build-a-Bear.  We told her if she earned good grades and passed all her assessments, she could earn a trip.  Hooray!

I think Daddy had an influence on this trip.... Star Wars!

And the finale of the perfect day... a trip to my favorite cupcake shop.  This one was all me, Rea was just along for the ride!

Last day of Kindergarten

I really wasn't expecting the last day of Kindergarten to be so emotional but I have to admit, I was.  I think about how far Rea has come, not only in her knowledge base but in her friendships and interacting with all the awesome staff at her school.

I was lucky to enjoy lunch with Reagan on her last day and it was so fun listening to kindy conversations and seeing how the staff treat Reagan and are so happy to see her.  It melts my heart to know that when we can't be with her all day every day, she is in good hands.

She finished the year with great grades, ever lasting friendships and the promise of sweet summer memories. We are so proud of her and the hard work she has done this past year. Can't wait to see what First grade brings!
