3 Years Ago Today...

Dear Reagan~

Three years ago today... we lovingly welcomed you into this world and you instantly transitioned us into the happiest parents on earth with your little finger grip and sweet baby face.

Fast forward three years later, and we couldn't be more proud of our little peanut.  We teach you kindness and empathy for others and in return, you know to give hugs and smoochies when someone looks sad.

We teach you to be happy, have fun and in return, you love to sing and dance to music- using a flashlight when you can't find your microphone.  You love to put on 'shows.'  You encourage us by saying 'clap harder mommy!' and you giggle and smile when we do.

You know exactly what you want and when you want it, all traits of a great leader that we hope someday you'll become.

You love to rhyme words, play with your memory game, play catch with daddy and ride your Barbie trike, even if you haven't mastered pedaling just yet.

I know you'll grow up with the same love for reading that I have- even now you beg for 10 books before bed instead of 5.  You love to read along with mommy, having memorized your favorites- If you give a pig a party, I love you this much, and Bless this mouse.

We are working on counting to 20 in English and Spanish and now adding in Chinese, after watching your favorite cartoon Ni-Hao Kai Lan. You love to go to movies and you sit so still, enthralled, eating your favorite snack of popcorn and MnMs (not to be outdone by any variety of the fruit snack family!).

You've mastered potty training but still suck your thumb (it's okay- we've already started saving for braces).  Hands down, your most requested activity is being able to play with your cousins and friends- you love them so!

You are our sunshine every morning and we love you to the moon and back.   Rea Rea, you make us proud to be parents and we can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you.

Your biggest fan,
Mama

We thank God every day for the blessing He has brought to us!
