Christmas with friends!
We started a tradition a few years ago to celebrate Christmas with our dear friends, Nette and Davy. It gives us something to look forward to after the let down that Christmas day has come and gone. We had so much fun feasting and well, more feasting.
We added a new element this year- the UFC fight. After Rea went to bed we watched the fight. I can't say I'm a fan but it certainly was entertaining.
We never have enough food. HA!
Love them!
Present time!
Craft time: making shrinky dinks.
I think it's safe to say we are officially done celebrating Christmas. I'm ready to put away the Christmas décor and move on to 2014!
Joys and tribulations, rants and rambles, insights and embarrassing moments...Taking in all of life and what it has to offer!

Christmas Part 3
We had an enjoyable Christmas day celebrating with Andy's side of the family. I ate my weight in fudge, pickle wraps and deviled eggs- the 3 food groups of Christmas. We played games, hung out by the fire and discussed what a great Christmas we experienced this year.
And if you're wondering why Rea is wearing her dance recital outfit from last year instead of the cute Christmas outfit I picked out, she'd have to tell you that. I've learned to pick my battles. :)
Present time!
I love her look of amazement.
Barbie was a hot item this year:
Family shot:
Cousin bonding time; these two were inseparable all day.
Christmas blessings to all!

Merry Christmas! Christmas Part 2
Prepping for Santa:
Disclaimer- We had to convince Reagan that Santa truly does love brownies just as much as he loves cookies as we left all the cookies at G&G's house (I know, I know, parent of the year award). She was amazed that Santa loves chocolate.
Santa Came!!
I can't take credit for this as I found it on the internet but I loved the message:
Be joyful!
We are so thankful for our Christmas blessings- family and friends, health and happiness. From our house to yours, Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Christmas Part 1
It took a Christmas miracle but we were finally all healthy enough to begin our Christmas festivities.
We survived toddler stomach flu, strep throat, a nasty viral infection, adult stomach flu and just for good measure, a hospital stay. Needless to say, it's been a rough few weeks. It was definitely time for some Christmas cheer!
We headed north this weekend to celebrate Christmas with my family. The trip up was a little dicey but we made it. It was great to see our family and Reagan loved playing with her cousins and getting Grandpa/Grandma snuggles. It's always so hard to leave. Thankful for the great memories we made and fun times that we shared.
Rea's first hot apple cider- she loved it!
Rudolph the red nosed Grandpa. He'll do anything to get a laugh from the grandkids! Such a good sport.
Riding 'Rudolph.'
One of her favorite things- the trampoline! I'm thinking a possible birthday gift next year...
Drinks with cousins.
Group shot-
One of her favorite gifts...the baby crib. She wanted to sleep with it. I convinced her it wouldn't fit in her bed so this was our compromise.
Another great year celebrating Christmas with our family! We will spend Christmas with Andy's side and looking forward to more fun times. Thankful for our health and our loved ones this time of year. Happy holidays!
