Farewell January!

We've talked a lot as a family about making healthy choices and decided we needed to take full advantage of the gym so we taught Rea how to play racketball.  She loves it!  And it fits her energy level perfectly!

January Fun!

We don't own the Pie in the face game, despite Rea's pleas to buy one so when it broke out during a recent play date at her friend's house, she was all in!

We also discovered a local restaurant does free arcade games ($5) on Sunday nights for kids. Lots of fun trying out all the games!

Rea had fun learning contemporary dance with her dance studio!

We are ready for the cold snap to melt away- come on warmer temps!

Daddy Daughter Dance 2018

Reagan was very excited to go to the daddy/daughter dance... the theme was tropical paradise and she had fun dancing the night away!  And by dancing, I mean sliding around the gym floor without her shoes on. :)

They twirled, they dipped, and Rea said she broke a sweat!  Fun times and great memories with daddy!

January times...

It's cold. Like way cold.
We've been battling illness.
And Reagan had her first snow day today.  Not due to snow, but ICE.

All of those things sum up our January! lol

Before the sickness hit (sinus infection for me, stomach flu/fevers for Rea) we had fun hosting my parents for their anniversary.  My step dad happily turned our money-pit house into livable luxury with updates to our screen door, bath tub drain, family room gallery wall, and the list goes on...

We also helped at a local fundraising night with the PTA- Rea earned her wages in garlic cheese pizza and ice cream!

Lots of indoor play time and reading books she got for Christmas!

We are looking forward to the daddy daughter dance, roller skating with friends and girl scout functions.  Oh and for the ice to thaw.

We headed to our friends to bring in the new year- we had fun with a karaoke machine, playing cards, and ringing in the new year with good friends!
