Happy birthday Mama!

We headed north this weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. Reagan had fun with Grandpa and enjoyed adventures in woodworking as well as playing with her cousins and loved her Gramma snuggle time.

She made a tiger puzzle out of wood. So proud!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Firsts~ Valentine's Day Party

Reagan got to experience her first Valentine's day party at school this year. I was so glad I could take the day off and go with her to help out. I love seeing her in her classroom, around her friends, with her teachers (who are great, btw).

They had fun doing an activity with candy hearts and even more fun eating the candy hearts. Snack was ice cream and cookies, then lots of singing and dancing (her faves!).  She was also very proud that it was her turn to be line leader and weather girl.  After playing outside it was time to go home.

Her favorite part was after we were home and she went through all her valentine's and showed off her valentine box that she made, "Mommy I added glitter because I know you like it!"

What a fun day with my sweet valentine!

All ready for her party!

My cute lunch date...

Working hard...

Weather girl...

Game time!

"Mom, see how big my cubby is? Take a picture!"

So proud of her valentine box...

A very successful party! Happy Valentine's day!

Another birthday on the books...

I just experienced my last birthday in my 30's.... a lot has happened this decade. My wedding, my baby girl, my new job... makes me so appreciate all the amazing family and friends that I have in my life.

This year, celebrating my birthday was a walk down memory lane...my besties whisked me off to my Alma mater for a night of dining, cocktails, shopping and dancing!  Oh what fun we had!  Our hotel was conveniently sandwiched between a wine shop and my favorite cupcake shop.  We had so much fun exploring the area and it was a much different birthday than when I celebrated my 21st birthday there. Oh how times have changed!

Champagne, OJ and a hottub for my birthday breakfast, yes please!

Lunch at a new brewery, 30hop. Such fun!

My first time trying roe and that bowl in the background?  Potatoes that tasted like pure butta. Happy birthday to me.

What a great trip! Looking forward to the next trip back...

My team at work surprised me with balloons and my favorite- butter cream iced cake.

Saturday night we hosted both our families for pizza, the best strawberry cake you ever did taste (thanks Alyce!) and AH-mazing frosted banana bars (thanks Mama!). A nice, relaxing night spent with family was the highlight to end my birthday celebration.

As I look ahead, I can only hope I'm as blessed in the years to come as I have been in all these years past.

Snowmageddon 2015

Instead of having evenly distributed snow throughout November, December and January, we get a foot on the first day of February. It never fails. It ALWAYS snows on or around my birthday.  I can't complain because it really is pretty, Reagan loves playing in it and it came on a weekend.

Happy snow day my friends!

Just a couple inches... no biggie.

Snow with friends is the best kind of snow!

Hard at work...

Enjoying being warm inside...another Pinterest craft idea = success!
