Wordless Wednesday~ Swim lessons!

Super Saturday!

We rose bright and early on Saturday and headed to Adventure Bay.

I wanted to beat the crowds and it wasn't too bad for the first 2 hours. I found a kick board on clearance for $2 for Reagan so we brought that so she could prep for swim lessons that start next week.

And for the first time, she jumped off the side and went under all by herself!  This is a huge accomplishment as she usually needs me right there. She loved it so much she did it over and over and over... until she was wiped out!

Saturday night our neighborhood association hosted their annual block party... Rea loved the tattoos, bouncy house, lemonade, ice cream, hula hooping and the best part, playing with her friends! We had a great night with our neighbors.

Thankful we live in such a great neighborhood... hope everyone had a great weekend!

Friday Night Fun Night

It was the perfect night for exploring with friends... a local grocery store hosted a family night in their pavilion.

Whirlwind Weekend

We enjoyed a whirlwind weekend last weekend...

It began with 'back to school' clothes shopping for peanut. I really can't believe I just typed those words.... school!  And to which Reagan reminded me, "Mommy, it's not really back to school for me since I've never even been to school!"  Leave it to her to set the record straight. :)

She is in a phase right now where she will only wear dresses... the fits, tears, drama-induced theatrics when I try to pull out Capri's or shorts just isn't worth my time. So we found some really cute (super on sale!) dresses for school.  And yes, I bribed good behavior with Orange Leaf. 

We woke up Saturday morning to sun and cooler temps so we decided to check out Adventure Bay. We ran into the neighbor girls there, much to Rea's delight.

Daddy was on babysitting duty Saturday night as I headed out with my girls... bacon bowl and dinner at Eatery A.  Both topped my must-do list!

Sunday!  The big day- Annette's sister, Kelli, was getting married!!  It was the perfect day- sun, breeze, a gorgeous setting on a quaint lil pond... so happy for them and blessed to be a part of their special day!  Rea danced her little heart out on the dance floor and promptly fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Thankful Thursday

Thankful for wonderful family and making fun memories...

We headed north last weekend to celebrate my step dad's birthday. Happy birthday Scotty!

We also got to meet my niece, Arianna, for the first time!  Two babies in the family makes for lots of baby snuggles (and Rea constantly asking to hold her cousins!).


We enjoyed a delicious supper at a new restaurant in town with a beautiful view of the river...

Making homemade play dough. So easy!  Use hair conditioner and corn starch, add food coloring. Viola!

On Sunday we celebrated Andy's mom's birthday at their house. Another batch of good food and fun with family. Happy birthday Alyce!
