Goodbye January!

It's hard to believe an entire month has gone by in the new year...

Reagan started work on her class Valentine's...

She also had fun celebrating 100 days of school!
We may be able to squeeze three years out of this shirt. Pinterest project success!

She had fun learning about snow! And making it...the clean up? Not so fun.
Great snow science kit in the Scholastic online site if anyone is interested.

Mini golf!
We had fun playing golf with friends and helping out a local PTA.

She is so serious in this picture because she really wanted to be taller than this penguin. Ha!

And the best picture of the week goes to...

The kids wanted to try out our friends new daycare transport van on the way to the movies...they could have spread out but no, they wanted to all sit by each other. Love it!

Happy end of January my friends!

Firsts!

Adventures in Girl Scouts:

Reagan earned her very first Girl Scout badge and pin this past weekend. She worked very hard memorizing the Girl Scout pledge and earned a safety badge for her work on her very own safety kit. They learned how to do Zumba and talked about healthy eating as well.

Adventures in Woodworking:

Reagan made her very first bookshelf with her Gpa K. and she even got to paint it, with a little help from Gramma K.

Completed project!

Weekend Fun!

We enjoyed a whirlwind weekend despite the bone-chilling temps outside!

Arts and Crafts-
So proud of Reagan as she wrote two sentences all by herself about what she would do with her snowman.  She is working harder on her reading and writing skills and is pleased when it all comes together.

2nd Annual Father/Daughter dance-
She was really looking forward to this, and as a special treat, Daddy took her out for supper before the big dance.  She loved seeing all her friends and dancing the night away.

"Mommy, Daddy even dipped me!"

The best part after getting dressed up for the night - ice cream and comfy pj's afterwards!

Roller Skating party!

My dear friend Niecy's sorority hosted their annual roller skating party.  Reagan did pretty good until the end when she fell.  A ring pop sucker helped ease the pain.

Disco dance parties with stuffies are always the best!

No school equals movie play date!
The girls had lots of laughs at Norm of the North.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Stay warm!

January Follies

With the arctic blast hitting us after the holidays...we are having fun finding indoor activities.

Lots of craft time, mall play time and swim time with friends!

On the plus side, we booked a fun little spring break getaway with friends to sunny Florida so we are counting down the days until paradise!

Making flavored marshmallows...

Brunch with our bestie....

Playland...

Puzzle time!

Crafts with friends...

 Let's swim!

Let's hope the arctic blast doesn't last too long... Happy winter!
