Birthday Celebration #3

Reagan wanted her birthday party at Build a Bear this year. I wasn't sure how it was going to work with food/opening gifts (since they don't do that at the store) but I called the mall and they were very open to us using the food court.  It actually worked out really well!

The girls had a great time building their bears and choosing outfits. The staff did phenomenal with all the girls...a very successful seventh birthday party!

Monster donuts!  (found on pinterest)

Halloween theme birthday decor- (Target dollar bin and Dollar Tree)

Girls with their costumes!

All the girls put a wish heart in Rea's bear...so cute!

All finished!

What a great way to celebrate turning 7!  So much fun with friends!

Birthday Celebration #2

On Reagan's actual birthday we had a low key dinner with her request, fudge! And then headed out to local business trick or treat and then to her school for a fall festival.  To end the night, her and daddy carved a pumpkin!

Birthday Celebration #1

We really wanted to give Reagan an 'experience' gift for her birthday this year instead of a bunch of toys that may or may not get played with.  She has been asking for months to visit the American Girl doll store with her cousin so a couple weeks ago we packed up the car and headed north!

The entire AGD store experience was so great... they have a hair salon where the girls can pick out the design, they can shop (which they happily engaged in!) and then we had a delicious lunch in the cafe. The staff really cater to the girls and their dolls. I arranged for cupcakes with candles and a singing of Happy Birthday, and the girls got to keep their doll tea cups and hair ties.

We then headed to the Crayola Experience.  Another wonderful time! So much to do and see, it was very interactive for all ages.  The girls got to name a crayon, make a label, paint with melted crayons, use technology to create designs, see how crayons are made in the Crayola theater, play in the playland and got to take home molding clay.  Such a fun time!

We then enjoyed a nearby hotel with a small-scale waterpark.  It was perfect for their ages and they had so much fun swimming!

I had heard about Como Zoo, which was free admission with goodwill donation.  It was close so we headed there the next day- the girls loved it!  All the animals were out and on full display. The grounds were beautiful and we ended the trip with adding some zoo stuffies to their collection.

Such a great time with my favorite girls!

And then she was 7!

How did we go from this:

To this:

Reagan is our happy-go-lucky, smart and sassy baby girl who will always be my baby. I tell her this, she rolls her eyes, but I know she loves it!

Happy number 7 to our best girl!

Her favorites are quiche and quesadillas, chocolate brownies, the middle of oreos, popcorn with candy, broccoli, bacon and toast (with lots of butter!).  She loves watching Bunk'd, Teen Titans Go, America's Funniest videos and kids youtube videos.  She still fiercely loves her bunny and 2 blankies, loves to push her snooze button on her alarm, and always loves being on the go with her friends!

We got a great report from her teacher this year- she is kind and including with her classmates, reading at top level and doing well in math, she acts as a leader in the classroom and the teacher loves  having her help out.

We will always be her biggest fans and can't wait to see what year 7 brings!
