And then she was 9!

8:18 a.m. The best memory I have 9 years ago today.... welcoming our sweet baby girl into this world. I had wanted to be a mom so bad, and for it to happen, for it to be a reality, was my whole heart.

Dear Reagan,

As you celebrate turning 9 years old today, know how much your daddy and I love you and how proud of you we are.  

You are kind, caring, think of others, are a good friend, work hard at school and dance and girl scouts.  You know Jesus is in your heart, and will guide you always.  

Know that the road may not always be easy, and you may encounter struggles, but we will be here with you all the way, loving and supporting you.  We know you can do anything you set your mind to. 

Thank you for the love and light and joy you give us every day.

Annual Pumpkin Carving

Each year, Andy and Reagan sit down and plan out their pumpkin design that they will carve together. 

We've had a large barn owl visiting our rooftops recently so they decided to carve an owl in honor of 'Hoots.' 

It turned out so cute and as a surprise turn of events, Rea didn't say 'EWWWW!' when pulling out the pumpkin guts this year. :)

Hello October!

Where does the time go?!  In two weeks, Reagan will be turning 9. It just doesn't seem possible!

We are in the full throttles of daily life...dance classes, homework, play dates, girl scouts, and the occasional slime making fest, lol!

We had a marvelous time on our family vacation at the end of September. We got in one really good boating day, pottery painting, cooking/baking, shopping, checking out various parks, fishing... the list goes on and on. 

The best part- being with family. So many new memories made, belly laughs to be had, good eats and intense game playing!

Always hard to get back to reality.  Long live Boji!
