Today, lil peanut is 44 weeks and growing!
This week brings... (finally!) saying 'mama', standing up by herself, testing out the stairs and *ta da* turning 10 months!
Peanut is growing by the milestone and it's amazing to witness a new skill she picks up every day. She is definitely a mover and a shaker! On the go all the time and no longer appreciates those things that restrict her, IE her exersaucer!
She is definitely testing her independence and even though (we think) she understands the concept of 'no' loves to shake her head and laugh when we use the word. We are working on diced finger foods and so far, no 'dice.' She still loves her Stage 3 baby foods and the bottle will always hold a special place in her heart. :)
Here are some pics from the week, enjoy!
10 months!
Joys and tribulations, rants and rambles, insights and embarrassing moments...Taking in all of life and what it has to offer!

Sweet Moments
Ah... I'll bet you thought this post would be about my sweet lil peanut... or something wildly romantic from Andy.
But no. I have to confess. I must admit. That cute, chubby lil white guy is back in my life. The one I've tried SO hard to forget!!!
Yes, the Pillsbury Dough Boy. And look what he brought me!!
If you haven't tried these delicious Sweet Moments (and believe me, you'll definitely have a moment), then stop reading right now. Go grab your keys, head to the local grocer and pick up a package of these. They'll not only melt in your mouth but will give you a 'sweet moment' for the day.
And check out their Web site for $1 coupon! Sweet taste, sweet price.

43 Weeks and growing...
Today Reagan is 43 weeks and growing!!
This week brings...another busy week! Peanut had tubes put in, attended her first Iowa State Fair, and had fun partying at her very first wedding!!
First, the tube surgery. Despite our nerves, we had the utmost confidence in our Dr. and the surgery went just as we were assured it would go- so smooth. Reagan did have a hard time during recovery (ahem, like mother, like daughter) but once she woke up from a 2 hour nap she was good to go! She has been talking non-stop ever since! Thanks to all for the prayers. It meant alot. xo
Peanut also got to attend her very first Iowa State Fair. She was enamored with all the different animals, loved the corn dog stuffing (again, like mother, like daughter), and had fun getting an Iowa Hawkeyes tattoo!
We also took Reagan with us to a wedding on Saturday night. She loved getting all dressed up with somewhere to go (gee- another like mother, like daughter??)! All the kids on the dance floor kept her rapt attention and she did great hanging with everyone.
On a crawling note, we can't keep her contained! Time to invest in a baby gate as she just discovered the stairs and thinks they are her friend. :) She is still obsessed with 'things she isn't supposed to have and knows that she isn't supposed to have them'- extension cords, vent gate covers, daddy's old mowing shoes.
Here are some pics from the week, enjoy!

Strike a pose!
A couple weeks ago we had Reagan's 9 month professional pictures taken by Julie with LandryAnnaDesigns.
Despite the 105 degree temp (by 9:00 a.m.), multiple outfit changes with hair bows and froofroo skirts, and (heaven forbid) peanut sitting on hard cement, Julie managed to once again do a great job despite the odds (Reagan was teething and a tad grumpy that day).
We love how the pictures turned out and here are a few of our favorites! Enjoy!
Thanks Julie!

42 Weeks and growing...
On Tuesday, Reagan was 42 weeks and growing!
This post is a little belated due to a very busy week! This past week brought a visit from out-of-town cousins, a trip to G&G Kollenkark's house, and her 9 month well-child exam.
Over the weekend, we had Sarina, Tyler and Kaitlyn come for their annual visit before school starts! We had so much fun and as the girls pointed out, even had time for our designated shopping trip to Jordan Creek Mall! The girls got to experience their first Build-A-Bear visit and we had a blast!! We also visited the zoo and then when everyone loaded up the car to head home, they took peanut with them!
I love our annual tradition of cousin time before school starts but now we have to deal with Reagan going through withdrawals from her cousins. (teehee) :) See you in 3 weeks, guys!
Reagan also had her 9 month well-child exam. She checked out in 'perfect' condition, minus the fluid in both ears. At least we didn't have to fend off another ear infection. Baby girl slipped to 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height~ weighing 21 lbs, 3 oz and 28 inches in length. The Dr. said she was right on track for her individual growth chart and was on track with all her other developmental milestones as well. Always thankful for a great check up!
Here are some pics from the week!
Tickle time with mommy!
Really, really, really concentrating on standing up~

*sigh* Gone is the playmat for 'babies' which no longer held Reagan's attention. In its place: her loveable pony, Clip Clop!
