Weekend Fun

Saturday:

Saturday we hosted a girls brunch for our out-of-town girlfriends, Adrian and Jules. We got caught up on birthdays and Christmas gifts, much to Reagan and Jules' delight... what a fun time we had sharing laughs and feasting on brunch goodies.

In addition to my brunch must-have, Rhodes Cinnamon rolls, I made my mom's delicious Amish breakfast casserole- so easy and so good!

1 pkg chopped ham
1 onion, chopped
8 eggs
1 30 oz pkg hash browns
2 c shredded Swiss
1 pkg shredded cheddar
1 container small curd cottage cheese
Mix together and spread in greased 9x13. Bake for an hour at 350. Yum!

So thankful for time spent with great friends!

"We mustache a good time!"

Sunday:

Prepping for Easter!
Egg dying... I found a new kit this year that used gel dye (instead of waiting for tablets to dissolve in vinegar). So easy! And Rea loved it...

Finished product:

Mother Daughter Garden Tea 2014~
I signed Reagan and I up for a mother/daughter tea party through Parks and Rec.  We had a great time~ She got to make a wish bottle, a corsage, a crown, get her picture taken with Rapunzel (who did a performance for the group), and we enjoyed snacks along with our favorite, Scratch cupcakes!

Despite dodging the rain, 2 broken umbrellas, and wet tights, we had so much fun!  I love making these memories with Reagan and it's worth it to hear her say, 'Thank you mommy, this was the best day ever!'

To top off our Sunday Funday, we took a quick detour through Bass Pro on the way home to say Hey! to the Easter Bunny. Reagan was a champ, giving him a hug and a high-five. She was prepared!

Bass Pro always does such a great job and the best part this year, no line! Everything is free and Rea always has such a fun time.

Concentrating hard on her kid craft:

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
