End of the year- First Grade

I can't believe we are almost at the end of another school year... completing first grade!

Grades are rolling in, no homework is coming home and Rea is having fun with end of the year activities!

Camp out in her classroom- Camp "Iwannaread"  Definitely the highlight of Rea's school year- she is well on her way to harder chapter books and much to her regret, ones that don't have pictures.

She has excelled at math and science this year- learned how to create, research and write a book with index and table of contents, and had such a fun time in art, music and PE.  We are so thankful for the staff at her elementary school and all that she has learned this year.  She even earned a  STAR award this week and got to each lunch with the staff. Always a fun treat!

Field day 2017!

Violin lessons are going strong...she'll continue those through the summer and has already come a long way in knowing how to read music and the notes...

And hopefully we have scheduled her very last tube surgery!  One tube grew in wrong and never fell out- so her ENT will remove the tube and patch the hole. We are praying she won't need a new set of tubes this time around.

A special treat after her pre-surgery check up...

Happy almost end of the school year!
