Happy Halloween!

Halloween 2010 was a lot of fun! The weather was perfect and peanut loved watching all the kids come to the door for candy. We had a great turnout and went through 12+ bags of candy!

Posing with her pumpkin~

"Uh mom? Shouldn't there be candy in my pumpkin?"

Reagan the lovebug...I mean, ladybug!

I think my ladybug got tired of posing...

Saying good-bye...

Since Andy and I had a Halloween party to attend at Lisa and Justin's, Reagan got to have a sleepover with G&G W.
I know, my costume is soooo creative. It's called "I'm cheap, didn't want to spend any money and didn't have a lot of time to plan Cowgirl." Andy is Dr. Ape. Can't you tell?

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

One year ago today...

The angels sang...

Making the decision to have a child- it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body. ~Elizabeth Stone

Dear Reagan~

Two years ago today, I could not even begin to imagine writing this letter, this love letter to my dearest baby girl.

One year ago today, all of my dreams came true. You have blessed our lives with such amazing grace and love that every time you hold out your sweet little arms for me, I hold my breath and feel the butterflies. Every time you smile when I enter a room, brings such immense joy in my heart. Every time you say 'dada' and look for your daddy, it makes my heart burst with the deepest love.

You came into this world a miracle. You changed our lives forever. And as you turn 1 years old today, I think of the person you already are and the person you are yet to become. I am already so proud of you and love you so deeply. Everyone said I'd never know love like this until I had a child, and now that you're here, in our lives, it's so much more than anyone can prepare you for.

To my sweet baby girl, I will love you forever and ever all the days of my life.
Your biggest fan,

Mama

52 Weeks and growing...

Well, this is it. The blog post I've been looking forward to and dreading all at the same time. Tomorrow, peanut turns 1! We survived an entire year~ it's everything everyone told us it would be and so much more.

This week brought... peanut's first birthday party! A big THANK YOU to all our family and friends that truly made the day as special as it was. We wouldn't be where we are without the support of all of you. It was such a blessing to see and feel the love surrounding Reagan on her special day. We are so appreciative of everyone's support throughout this past year of peanut's life!

This week I also decided to put the formula away and bring out the big guns. Whole milk. She took her first bottle on Saturday like a champ and hasn't looked back since. *see me doing the happy dance on formula savings*

Peanut also had fun with a cousin sleepover and attending Jack's birthday party at the bowling alley! Tomorrow she gets to celebrate her birthday at daycare and I attempted my first batch of birthday treats. After a couple hours and sunken cupcakes, I couldn't remember why I didn't just pick something up at the store? Oh, that's right. Those items aren't made with love. :)

Here are some pics from the week~ enjoy!

Let's get this party started!!!

Thanks to all for keeping track of peanut's development every week. Now that we've reached the milestone of a year, my weekly posts won't be so regular. Sometimes more, maybe sometimes less...we'll see what the next year brings! Love to all! xoox
