Weekend Reflected

Another great weekend come and gone... gearing up for the work week and reflecting on a weekend of making fun memories.

Friday:

Jacque took a quick pic of Rea for me at the end of the day on Friday:

A couple hours later and we may have set our thermostat a little too low..."Mama, I'm a baby polar bear... they live where it's really cold.

But in my defense, it was HOT outside.

Saturday:

SMS:

I definitely wanted to beat the heat so we headed to the library. It was nice and cool inside- bonus points for being a free activity as well!

So busy...

Puppets~

Saturday night was a much-anticipated double date night with our besties, Nette and Davy. It's always a good time with those two and a big thanks to G&G W. for watching peanut overnight.

The agenda:

It wasn't the capital of Spain but it was a great date night destination!  Lots of good food, cold drinks and belly laughs!!

Good times, amazing memories!!

Sunday:

Can you believe it's still hot? Really truly fry an egg on the sidewalk hot?  So we chose a cool theater, and enjoyed Planes.

Cute movie. Even better with theater popcorn and MnMs.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Stay cool my friends!

Hi!

What library is that? It looks super fun!

How did your organize your Madrid night out? We live just south of there and have never done half those things! Seems like a super fun time!

Hey Rose- It was at the Altoona library- they have a great section for kids.

My friend found a flyer on Madrid- bars, restaurants so we decided to check it out. The Flat Tire was on our list too but so packed that night due to a bike event. Great little town and the best customer service- everyone was so friendly! You guys should explore it on a date night. :)
