Blessing baby...

On Sunday, February 21st we had Reagan baptized. As soon as peanut put on her 'party dress' she was in full fashionista-mode. She knew she had to perform that day and she didn't disappoint. My child, who would typically be hysterical without a bottle every 2.5 hours, managed to not only skip the bottles, but smile, coo and laugh throughout the baptismal ceremony.

Andy and I were so blessed to have all of our family and friends join us as we thanked God for the miracle that he gave us. It was awe-inspiring to watch as our church community welcomed Reagan, as well as our family and friends, with open arms.

Afterwards, we hosted brunch at our place catered by Hy-Vee. I have to say, they did a great job and everyone raved over the food. My mom baked 5 (!) different kinds of breads as well as Reagan's baptism cake and I heard many comments that she should retire and open up her own bakery~ something we've been saying for years. :)

We'd like to thank all our family and friends for their blessings, gifts, and sharing our special day with us! We love you!
